Process EngineerPosition SummaryThe Process Engineering team is responsible for the development, optimization, and stabilization of complex manufacturing processes across all phases of product development and production. Engineers within this track contribute to yield, quality, and throughput improvements through hands‑on troubleshooting, data analysis, cross‑functional collaboration, and technical innovation. This role evolves from entry‑level learning and support to senior technical leadership and strategic project ownership.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Monitor costs and update them as appropriate. Conduct process experiments; collect, organize, and analyze data to inform decisionsPerform hands‑on troubleshooting of recipes, tools, or process‑related issuesIdentify non‑conforming product or conditions; conduct root cause analysisParticipate in or lead process improvement projects (e.g., yield, cycle time, cost)Support the development and qualification of new products or toolsDocument and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Train technicians or operators to ensure safe and consistent process executionCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier/vendor teamsMaintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulationsLive the company culture of integrity, teamwork, self‑discipline and professional competencePerform other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsExperience / EducationBachelors in Engineering or related field strongly preferred4-5+ years of Process Engineering experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesGood communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environmentFamiliar with common workplace software (Microsoft Office)Ability to use engineering computer programsGood math skillsKnowledge of research and testing methodsIndependent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills and new technologyStrong organization skills and detail‑oriented mindsetAbility to follow detailed directionsUnderstanding of engineering conceptsPhysical strength and abilities to perform well in the field if necessaryAble to adapt to changing requirements in a fast‑paced start‑up settingKnowledge of and process experience with adhesives, CMM measurements and/or test equipmentPrior experience with roll‑to‑roll processingPrior experience running trials or experimentsPrior experience with lithography or related circuit patterning technologyPrior start‑up experiencePhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
