You'll also work across teams with operations, R&D, and quality, which means you'll build a well-rounded skillset and gain visibility in the business.     What You Will Do:
    • Improve production processes, material flow, quality, and efficiency in partnership with operations
    • Lead process improvement projects from design through implementation
    • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; identify root causes and implement solutions
    • Support equipment upgrades, repairs, and installation, including contractor coordination
    • Monitor reliability, performance, and maintenance spending against budget
    • Develop and maintain process documentation (P&IDs, BFDs, SOPs) and quality checkpoints
    • Collaborate with R&D and Quality to implement safe, compliant process improvements
    • Provide technical support, training, and best practices to operations teams
    • Evaluate and validate process changes, system upgrades, and new ideas
    • Support risk assessments, safety standards, and Safe Feed/Safe Food requirements
    What You Will Need to Be Successful:
    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineering
    • At least 3 years of process engineering or related experience
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting processes or equipment
