Job Title: Process Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead small process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide effective troubleshooting and support for manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new process and equipment projects.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of magnet wire manufacturing and process controls.
  • Compile standardized documents and perform training on them.
  • Coordinate and perform trials in compliance with JCP and customer standards.
  • Design and execute trials to qualify and evaluate equipment per JCP and customer standards.
  • Maintain process sheets and customer-specific reports.
  • Support plant improvement teams and events.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelors Degree within an Engineering Discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience within a manufacturing setting, including process troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in Wire & Cable Manufacturing.
  • Experience leading/managing a manufacturing engineering team.

Work Environment

This position is based at the Franklin, IN site, requiring 100% onsite presence. The role operates within a climate-controlled industrial manufacturing environment. It is a first shift, Monday to Friday role, with minimal overtime, working a consistent schedule from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $44.23/hr.
