\nLocal candidates preferred, but non-local candidates willing to relocate on their own may be considered if local candidates are not availble.

\nTop skills/requirements: Bachelors is required, plus 2 years professional (not academic) Process Engineer experience in a manufacturing plant.
\nScope of Position
\nThe Process Engineer will provide hands-on support in a manufacturing environment to identify equipment, product, process, or operational issues and implement practical corrective actions that improve safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nProvide hands-on engineering support on the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot equipment, product, process, and operational issues.
\nAnalyze data, observations, and process conditions to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
\nRecommend, implement, and verify corrective actions to improve quality, uptime, throughput, and process stability.
\nSupport equipment start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, qualification, and process optimization.
\nPartner with operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, and vendors to resolve issues and sustain improvements.
\nMaintain procedures, standard work, technical documentation, and clear communication of findings and recommendations.

\nRequired Qualifications
\nBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another STEM field required.
\nHands-on experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or plant environment.
\nDemonstrated ability to identify equipment, product, process, or operational issues and implement corrective actions.
\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
\nCommitment to safe work practices and compliance with plant procedures.
\nPreferred Skills and Experience
\nExperience with root cause analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, or other continuous improvement methods.
\nFamiliarity with manufacturing systems, process controls, data analysis tools, and production performance metrics.
\nMechanical aptitude and willingness to spend time on the manufacturing floor engaging with operators and observing processes.
\nWork Environment and Schedule
\nThis role is primarily manufacturing-floor based and may require occasional off-shift or extended-hour support to meet operational or project needs. Considerable time will be spent walking and standing on the production floor.
