We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer III to support a leading life science manufacturer. This role focuses on tech transfer of a chemical manufacturing process, equipment and process validation, and ongoing process optimization. The position requires strong communication skills, technical depth, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment qualification â Lead installation, operational qualification, and process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Process development â Create process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, and support HAZOP and FMEA risk assessments
Work instructions â Develop and execute detailed work instructions
Deviation support â Investigate process deviations and implement corrective actions
Continuous improvement â Use data-driven decision-making to optimize processes
Safety and quality â Promote a strong safety-first and quality-focused culture
Skills and Competencies
Safety mindset with strong adherence to best practices
Knowledge of process and equipment validation
Understanding of ISO standards, risk assessments, deviation investigations, and change control
Familiarity with cGMP environments
Understanding of statistical tools and statistical process control
Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Work Environment
Work performed in both office and production-floor settings
Collaboration with manufacturing and cross-functional teams
Some travel may be required
Required Education and Experience
Bachelorâs degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a related field
7â10 years of relevant experience, including chemical manufacturing
Pay- $65.00 to $70.00 per hour DOE
