Location: Mansfield, OHCleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for a Process Engineer at its Mansfield, Ohio facility. This role is responsible for providing engineering expertise in the planning and execution of technical projects within the Hot Strip.Responsibilities Collaborates with the department to solve technical problems.Engineers major facilities and component parts and investigates field project assignments to develop cost-effective solutions to production.Develops, analyzes, prepares and executes technical projects.Ensures compliance with safety standards, quality standards and cost.Collaborates with Quality for root cause analysis of quality issues.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.2–5 years of experience in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment.Strong communication, computer and problem solving skills.Ability to work safely in industrial environments while wearing required PPE.Preferred Qualifications Experience in steelmaking or metals manufacturing.Experience in a union environment.Compensation & Benefits We offer an excellent total compensation package, including competitive pay with variable compensation opportunity, health insurance, retirement plan, education assistance, paid time off, and more.Equal Opportunity & Accommodation Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is an equal opportunity employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability.
