Process Engineer – Industrial Equipment (AutoCAD Plant 3D Focus)

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting industrial equipment projects. This role is heavily focused on creating and maintaining P&ID drawings using AutoCAD Plant 3D, along with supporting process design, documentation, and equipment sizing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain P&ID drawings using AutoCAD Plant 3D throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Review sales documentation to confirm process calculations and equipment sizing
  • Collaborate with project teams on equipment and instrumentation selection
  • Prepare project documentation including:
    • Data Sheets
    • Functional Descriptions
    • Utility Consumption Lists
  • Participate in project meetings and provide engineering input as needed
  • Assist in developing department standards, procedures, and sizing tools
  • Support new product development and design efforts

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer on industrial projects
  • Strong experience creating P&ID drawings
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D

Preferred:
  • Experience with process calculations and equipment sizing
  • Background in industrial heating systems, process equipment, or similar environments
