LSI offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment where your contributions will make an impact.Job SummaryProcess Engineers work with clients to produce detailed process designs and simulations for new equipment, or to modify existing process designs to correct deficiencies. This work involves the entire project life cycle, including creating job proposals for clients, performing the detailed process design, simulating the process, providing support during project start-up, and validating process performance after start-up.Reports To: Operations DirectorPrimary ResponsibilitiesDevelop process mechanical deliverables from concept through constructionDevelop equipment specifications, process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs), equipment lists, line lists, POC lists, and operation specificationsWork with designers to create drawingsWrite installation scope documentsPrepare and give technical reviews to clients regarding project-related itemsCoordinate with other project disciplines as requiredWork with clients, vendors, and suppliers to develop deliverablesEstimate process engineering hours and schedule for proposalsOversee and QC engineering work of others (e.g., drawings, calculations, designs, etc.)Support construction to include onsite and remoteLead checkout/start-up efforts associated with project workProvide technical leadership and manage process mechanical discipline project membersCoach and mentor others as requiredAbility to travel as needed with anticipation of 25-50% annuallyQualificationsRequired Experience/Abilities:Degreed in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical)Experience utilizing 3D tools such as Navisworks, Plant 3D, VR, and 3D Scans (Preferred)Engineered Package development including Scope of Work, P&IDs, Specifications & Mechanical Equipment Arrangements (Preferred)BenefitsOur Work-Life Balance Benefits were created to attract and reward our employees, which includes healthcare, life, supplemental insurance, and wellbeing benefits.
