BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing,Chemical or Process Engineering
Experience with Composites manufacturing
Any experience with Carbon Fiber manufacturing
Knowledge of the following processes: Hand Lay-up, Resin Transfer Molding(RTM), and Automated Fiber Placement(AFP)
Root Cause, PFMEA, Statistics & SQC/SPC
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain robust manufacturing processes for composite parts, focusing on maximizing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This includes techniques such as lay-up, curing (autoclave/oven), trimming, and assembly
Provide technical support and daily direction to production personnel. Lead root-cause analysis for production issues, including non-conformances related to materials or processes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Recognizes, implements, and troubleshoots tools by providing root cause and corrective actions (RCCA) to problems associated with impregnation or batch mixing manufacturing processes.
