Responsible for executing advanced electrical semiconductor device characterization in support of Micron’s memory technology development. Operate with minimal supervision and collaborates directly with cross-functional teams, including Process Engineering, Design Development Quality Assurance (DDQA), Device Engineering and Test (DET), and Scribe to meet project-level objectives and deliver high-quality, decision-ready parametric data. Conceive and implement new characterization methodologies, conducting root-cause analysis of parametric & device-level issues, and proposing improvements to test element group (TEG) design and measurement techniques based on customer feedback. Apply advanced knowledge in at least one domain of device characterization, including memory array, or complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) speed and demonstrates broad technical fluency across multiple domains. Utilize knowledge in semiconductor process flows, mask levels, and parametric test structures, as well as the ability to use data analysis tools such as JMP and Python. Work with industry-leading instrumentation platforms to ensure measurement integrity, automation efficiency, and timely data delivery. Mentor team members, promote continuous learning, and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in device characterization to support technical growth and operational excellence across the organization. Employer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Semiconductor Process Engineer-related occupation. Application of Semiconductor device physics, including metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS); Semiconductor process flows as it pertains to device electrical performance, including CMOS fabrication and metallization for interconnect; Industry-leading instrumentation platforms used in semiconductor device measurement such as B1500, WGFMU, Oscilloscope, Pulse generators, SPA.
