Description

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer who will be reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this critical role will focus on identifying and implementing process improvements that drive productivity, enhance quality, and increase overall plant efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of manufacturing control strategies to optimize plant performance.
  • Apply Six Sigma, TQM, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce scrap and boost throughput.
  • Conduct in-depth process audits, generate improvement plans, and manage implementation from concept to completion.
  • Develop and oversee capital project proposals, including cost analysis and project execution.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve process-related challenges and improve operational reliability.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Injection molding and plastics industry experience is required.
  • Experience with capital project management.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Business-oriented mindset with a practical approach to technical problem-solving.
Additional Details:
  • Travel required up to 60% (onsite project work across multiple facilities).
