Our client, a leader in the chemical processing industry, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Process Engineering Department supporting operational excellence and process optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Develop and implement a Process Engineering strategy, including five-year capital planning and process optimization.
  • Support integrity management of critical equipment and assist with maintenance and inspection plans.
  • Collaborate with operations to troubleshoot issues, monitor KPIs, and identify process bottlenecks.
  • Drive process safety reviews, manage changes, and support regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance process flow diagrams and alarm management systems.

What's Needed?

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in process development, optimization, and safety management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret process data for long-term trend analysis.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ standards.
