This is an opportunity for a process-focused engineer who thrives on the floor, enjoys working with production teams, and is excited to take ownership of performance-driven initiatives. You'll lead efforts in root cause analysis, process centering, and continuous improvement of the plastics extrusion process.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Own production KPIs (downtime, scrap, efficiency) and work hands-on with the extrusion process solve process issues and improve consistencyDrive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools and structured problem-solvingDevelop and maintain SOPs and production documentation to standardize best practicesSupport line layout and workflow refinements using tools like Visio (CAD experience a plus, but not required)REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field preferred but will consider experience in leu of degree.Minimum of 4 years of hands-on processing experience in a plastics environment.
