Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to serve as the primary technical authority for process engineering projects and precision tool design. This high visibility position provides global technical leadership, partnering closely with facility management to resolve complex manufacturing issues, standardize best practices, and execute strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage manufacturing and process engineering projects across multiple specialized production facilities.
  • Provide global process leadership for high volume component manufacturing, including developing standards and location strategy.
  • Support product engineering launches by evaluating process capabilities, machine capacities, and layout efficiencies.
  • Direct capital purchases of advanced production equipment from initial procurement through validation and start up.
  • Provide continuous assessment of production machinery to advise executive staff on operational capacity.
  • Partner with plant leadership to execute critical customer requirements and manufacturing changes on the shop floor.
  • Lead continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives to minimize scrap and optimize cycle times.
  • Document manufacturing engineering standards and create detailed work instructions for production lines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering field of study.
  • Extensive background in process engineering within a heavy metal forming or precision manufacturing environment.
  • Hands on experience in specialized cold forming process development and complex tooling design.
  • Proven capability in structured problem solving and analytical tools such as DMAIC or 8D methodologies.
  • Proficiency with 3D modeling software, project management tools, and statistical analysis applications.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of an international manufacturing organization.
  • Flexibility to support a round the clock manufacturing operation and travel up to twenty percent domestically and internationally.
