The position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of duties, including but not limited to the following.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssess and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.Develop and implement process optimization strategies using tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, quality, operations and safety, to resolve technical issues.Evaluate and integrate new technologies or automation to streamline workflows.Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to address inefficiencies and defects.Determine and track departmental goals.Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Drive initiatives such as 5S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to foster a culture of operational excellence.Maintain detailed records, including SOPs, process maps, and troubleshooting guides for consistent operations.Provide technical guidance and training to operators and team members to enhance process understanding.QualificationsWork Experience: Entry Level to 2 yearsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Process/Industrial Engineering or another Engineering fieldRelated ExperienceEffective communication skills, both written and verbalSelf‑motivated and works well with or without supervisionGood organizational skills and a methodical approach to workAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyHand‑eye coordination is necessary to operate testing instruments, tools, computers, and various pieces of office equipmentDetail oriented; able to read and interpret drawings, BOMs, options, shop details, etc.Must have a good attendance record and a strong sense of personal responsibilityPersonal computer skills requiredAbility to work safelyExperience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Proficiency in data analysis and technical software (Excel, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, process simulation software)Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesExperience developing, implementing, and sustaining new or improved manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, throughput, and cost performanceWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat or cold, and heights.
