We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to support the design, optimization, and operation of wastewater treatment systems in the Tampa area. This role will focus on improving treatment performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting both new facility design and upgrades to existing infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in biological and chemical treatment processes and thrives in a collaborative, project-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and optimize wastewater treatment processes, including biological, chemical, and physical treatment systemsDevelop process flow diagrams (PFDs), mass balances, and technical specificationsSupport pilot studies, process modeling, and data analysis to improve plant performanceCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, controls) on design and implementationEvaluate existing systems and recommend improvements for efficiency, capacity, and complianceSupport startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of treatment systemsEnsure compliance with Florida environmental regulations and permitting requirementsAssist in preparing technical reports, proposals, and client presentationsWork closely with operators and maintenance teams to implement process improvementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field3–8 years of experience in wastewater or water treatment process engineeringStrong understanding of biological treatment processes (activated sludge, MBR, etc.) and chemical treatment methodsExperience with process modeling tools and data analysisAbility to develop and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, and technical documentationKnowledge of relevant environmental regulations and standards#J-18808-Ljbffr
