Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading process development, transfer, and validation efforts for medical device manufacturing.
  • Supporting internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Optimizing manufacturing processes through data analysis, DOE, and statistical methods.
  • Reading and creating engineering drawings, including GD&T interpretation for tight-tolerance components.
  • Conducting complex statistical, geometric, and mathematical calculations to support process characterization.
  • Writing and reviewing protocols, reports, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously to meet production and quality objectives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless process transfer and validation.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in medical device manufacturing process development, transfer, optimization, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as Minitab and a solid foundation in statistical methods, DOE, process characterization, process capability analysis, and root cause investigation.
  • Proven ability to support both internal and external manufacturing processes within regulated environments.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical systems and capital equipment manufacturing.
