The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a continuous improvement mindset and enjoys collaborating across Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to drive measurable business results. If you are energized by process optimization, automation, root cause analysis, and leading impactful improvement projects, this could be an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Optimization & Manufacturing SupportDesign, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, throughput, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Lead technical troubleshooting efforts related to process performance, automation, controls, and equipment reliability.Support manufacturing operations by identifying root causes of recurring issues and implementing sustainable corrective actions.Monitor production data and identify opportunities for waste reduction, process stabilization, and cost savings.Automation & ControlsSupport and improve automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, instrumentation, and process controls.Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.Assist with commissioning, validation, and startup activities for new equipment and process improvements.Lead structured problem‑solving initiatives using Lean methodologies, PDCA, 5 Why analysis, Fishbone diagrams, Pareto analysis, and other continuous improvement tools.Drive projects that improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.Standardize successful improvements through documentation and training.Capital ProjectsSupport capital equipment and facility improvement projects from concept through implementation.Participate in scope development, vendor selection, installation planning, commissioning, and project handoff.Coordinate contractors and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.Documentation & TrainingDevelop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, technical documentation, and process standards.Create training materials and support knowledge transfer initiatives.Serve as a subject matter expert for manufacturing processes and process‑related equipment.Maintenance & Reliability PartnershipCollaborate with Maintenance teams to improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.Analyze downtime trends and reliability data to identify chronic losses and improvement opportunities.Provide technical leadership during equipment breakdowns and critical troubleshooting events.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.3–7 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.Experience supporting manufacturing processes, equipment, automation, and production systems.Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.Ability to work cross‑functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams.Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.PreferredExperience with PLCs, HMIs, controls systems, and industrial automation.Experience in regulated manufacturing or cleanroom environments.Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward certification.What Success Looks LikeIncreased equipment reliability and process stability.Reduced downtime and recurring production issues.Successful execution of process improvement and capital projects.Improved operational efficiency, quality, and throughput.Strong partnership across manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams.Why Consider This Opportunity?High‑impact engineering role with visibility across the organization.Opportunity to lead meaningful process improvement initiatives.Exposure to automation, manufacturing technology, and capital projects.Collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.Stable manufacturing operation with opportunities for professional growth.Interested candidates can apply directly through Parable Talent for confidential consideration.
