We are currently seeking a Process Engineer who is passionate about manufacturing, continuous improvement, and solving complex production challenges. What You'll Do:
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency throughout the operation.
- Develop and validate manufacturing processes for new products and first article production.
- Partner with production personnel to identify process improvements and implement best practices.
- Investigate manufacturing and quality issues using root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Analyze production processes to improve yield, reduce scrap, and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Management on process improvement initiatives.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects that support operational excellence.
- Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams.
- Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on foundry experience.
- Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with casting simulation software, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks is a plus.
- Experience managing capital projects or facility improvements is a plus.
- Technical degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
