EMPLOYER Audubon Engineering Operations LLC JOB TITLE Process Engineering Manager LOCATION 12301 Kurland Suite 225 Houston TX 77034 DUTIES Manage a team of engineering supervisors andor engineers who perform process engineering assignments associated with designing equipment components structures or systems. Interact and communicate with direct reports team members clients subcontractors vendors and other consultants. Ensure assigned projects are completed according to schedule and within budget. Ensure that all team members adhere to company quality standards and follow engineering checking and approval procedures. Perform checking or assign the appropriate checker of engineering drawings and mathematical calculations produced by direct reports. Ensure the overall quality and technical accuracy associated with deliverables produced by all team members. Oversee adherence to safe design practices while focusing on identifying cost saving opportunities. Assist in and coordinate the development of internal design guidelines specifications and design control procedures. Assess feasibility of projects by assessing materials costs and time requirements applying knowledge and techniques of engineering and advanced mathematics. Utilize complex and repetitive calculations. Prepare or direct the preparation and modification of reports specifications plans andor construction schedules for projects. Analyze and examine different strategies equations and applications to ensure appropriate procedures are applied andor utilized. Resolve design and development issues. Manage and forecast man-hour requirements and schedules associated with discipline-specific project scope. Assess challenges and potential risks of planned projects including construction costs government regulations potential environmental hazards and other factors. Undertake initiatives for risk management and appropriate steps to address it. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering Chemical Engineering or closely related field plus ten 10 years of experience in the job offered or ten 10 years of experience in a related occupation in each of the following as lead for large multi-discipline projects utilizing HYSYS ProMax or equivalent software utilizing knowledge of conceptual through detailed design and P&ID development utilizing knowledge of codes such as API and Process design standards.
