Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Paper Science, or Mechanical Engineering
At least 10 years of experience in engineering design is preferred
Minimum 5%2B years of experience in engineering design as a facilities/plant engineer or as a consulting engineer
Responsibilities:
Perform conceptual and detailed designs for Pulp and Paper Technologies
Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems
Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully-coordinated projects
Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others
Mentor junior engineers on basic engineering applications and principals
Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work
