Equipment Controller/Cleaner is responsible for cleaning all tanks and equipment in the factory. This role is also responsible for the upkeep and scheduling of cleaning equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cleans all tanks and equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- Cleans factory floors.
- Works with manufacturing technicians to ensure they have equipment to meet production and schedule requirements.
- Maintains cleaning records for all equipment.
- Labels finished product as needed.
- Maintains clean work areas and ensures that production equipment is clean.
- Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment as needed.
- Adheres to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for safety compliance.
Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years' experience in manufacturing setting preferred.
- Mechanical skills, with the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Building maintenance and repair experience a plus.
- Work in a results-oriented, challenging environment as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Possesses a strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
- This position requires a regular presence on the floor.
