We are hiring a Styrofoam Process Equipment Operator at our manufacturing site in Channahon, IL.
As part of a three-person team, you will operate and maintain equipment in the Styrofoam insulation plant, ensuring safety, environmental responsibility, and efficiency.
Responsibilities include interfacing with process control systems, testing product quality, setting up and adjusting equipment, performing manual operations like foam cutting and stacking, and conducting minor maintenance activities.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, strong teamwork skills, and a valid US driver’s license. Preferred qualifications are a technical/trade degree and process operation experience.
This role requires working on a 12-hour rotating shift, physical ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work in various environments with proper safety gear.
