Job Summary

City Brewery in La Crosse, WI has an immediate opening for a Utilities Mechanic. This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment related to the operation of the Engine Room and Refrigeration Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Completing repairs/performing preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, and gearboxes.
• Facilities maintenance.
• Troubleshooting emergency maintenance problems.
• Fabrication and modification of components to improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintaining records, logs and files as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years maintenance/industrial automation in a manufacturing facility or related coursework in combination with experience, including troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and welding a plus.
• Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
• Must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, operate scissor lifts & forklifts.
• Must be able to push, pull, drag and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Able to complete confined space training.
