Responsibilities
Review appropriate production schedules for the line to ensure correct equipment (fryer, popper, extruder, rotor, etc.) setups have been made and appropriate raw material are present for efficient productivity
Responsible to maintain all British Retail Consortium (BRC) initiatives including Food Safety, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Defense, Allergens, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) within the plant
Review appropriate production schedules for the line to ensure correct equipment setups have been made and appropriate raw material are present for efficient productivity
Monitor all product in process and or finished to be packed to ensure best quality standards are being met with the control/retains out in the operation.
Make sure all materials are properly counted, weighed and labeled with correct label information
Oversee efficient and safe operation of all equipment in the line
Ensure that all partial pallets, bags, containers, etc. are available and accessible as well as having proper documentation such as part number, weights, expiration dates etc
Report to supervisor equipment malfunctions, so that they can ultimately be reported to maintenance
Ensure that all raw materials are correct and meet all the customer and Eagle Foods specifications
Ensure adequate housekeeping throughout the day
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
Experience with Food Safety Audit expectations and requirements preferred
