Process Operator 3rd Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Process Operator to join our 3rd shift team in a food manufacturing environment. The Process Operator will be responsible for safely operating production equipment, accurately measuring and mixing spices and seasonings, monitoring the production process, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing and production equipment.
• Measure, weigh, and blend spices, seasonings, and other ingredients according to established formulas.
• Follow batch sheets, recipes, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Load raw materials and ingredients into processing equipment.
• Monitor equipment and production processes for proper operation.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
• Record production information, ingredient usage, lot numbers, and other required documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
• Perform basic equipment adjustments and report mechanical or production issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment between batches or products.
• Communicate production issues and completed work to supervisors and the next shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, food processing, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, recipes, and production specifications.
• Basic math skills, including weighing and measuring ingredients.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move bags or containers of ingredients as required.
• Must be comfortable working around spices, seasonings, food ingredients, dust, and production equipment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a food manufacturing facility. Employees may work around strong aromas, spice dust, processing equipment, and varying temperatures. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and food-safety practices are required.

Schedule

3rd Shift Overnight

Candidates must be dependable and able to consistently work the assigned overnight schedule.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Previous experience working with food products, spices, seasonings, batching, mixing, or production equipment is a plus.
