Process Operator (Bakery)

Job Summary:
Responsible for operating and monitoring bakery production equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, and consistent production of baked goods. This role requires adherence to food safety and quality standards while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Frequent heavy lifting and repetitive physical activity are required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and adjust bakery production equipment to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Perform machine setup, changeovers, and minor equipment adjustments as needed.
• Load ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies into production equipment.
• Conduct routine quality checks to ensure products meet company specifications and food safety standards.
• Accurately complete production records and document quality inspections.
• Maintain continuous product flow while minimizing downtime and material waste.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas in compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain an efficient operation.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production demands.
