Ready to Turn Data Into Throughput?

Do you see stories hidden in downtime charts? Can you guide a team through a fishbone discussion and leave them energized to try a new PDCA cycle? If yes, you may be the Process Optimization Analyst who helps our nine bottling lines reach new levels of performance as they produce around 10 million cases a year.

Who we are

Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, carries forward the heritage of the Tom Moore Distillery founded in 1879. In 2009, we joined Sazerac Company, established in 1850 and now a leading U.S. spirits supplier with the world’s most decorated distillery and a portfolio of award-winning brands.

How you will contribute

  • Lead practical kaizen events, 5S routines, value stream mapping, and disciplined root cause analysis.
  • Teach and mentor teams in Lean and Six Sigma techniques, including DMAIC, 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and PDCA.
  • Drive root cause initiatives through to preventive and corrective actions that endure.
  • Own project visibility: plan, track, and report milestones, outcomes, and return on investment.
  • Convert production and downtime data into insights that inform prevention plans.
  • Work side by side with front-line operators to mitigate risks to safety, quality, and production.
  • Channel feedback into action and follow up to reinforce a culture of innovation.
  • Coach teams to lock in improvements through standard work and visual controls.
  • Create and refine KPIs that clearly measure progress and success.

Where and when you will work

Our operation runs 24 by 7. Flexibility to support all shifts is part of the role.
