What will you do?
- Cut pipe accurately using hand tools, pipe cutters, cutting torches, and pipe cutting machines.
- Fit and assemble tubes, fittings, and non‑metallic components.
- Join piping via threading, soldering, brazing, and cemented connections to meet spec and code.
- Inspect pipe systems and related machinery to catch malfunctions early.
- Use material handling equipment to lift and position pipe, supports, and heavy equipment safely.
- Coordinate closely with engineers, designers, programmers, planners, project managers, and customers.
- Follow NFPA 70E and all safety procedures; engage in toolbox talks and safety audits.
- Immediately correct and/or report unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents.
- Support teammates—share best practices, mentor, and jump in where needed.
What do you need to bring?
- Proven pipefitting experience, drawing/blueprint fluency, knowledge of plumbing codes, and solid trade math.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to climb and work at heights, work in confined spaces, and lift/move heavy objects.
- Comfort with heat, cold, and changing weather.
- English reading/writing, plus basic computer and communication skills.
- Regular full‑time availability; 40‑hour day schedule with flexibility for overtime and occasional travel.
Compensation and rewards
Hourly range: $27.00–$55.00, commensurate with education and years of experience. Eligible for the annual bonus plan and long‑term incentive plan.
