    Strong working knowledge should include:

    • Carbon steel and stainless steel welding and weld characteristics
    • Heat fusion and solvent welding of plastic piping systems
    • Threaded, compression, face-seal, and flared fittings
    • Brazing and soldering

    • Industry-standard piping installation and inspection practices

    Required Experience & Qualifications:

    • Previous QA/QC experience on major high-tech construction projects and/or semiconductor facilities
    • Journeyman-level experience in Process Piping or a closely related trade discipline
    • Strong field construction experience and the ability to communicate effectively with trades, designers, engineers, and tool owners
    • Thorough understanding of process piping construction, field coordination, area layouts, and construction sequencing
    • Ability to independently resolve technical construction questions in the field
    • Personnel inspecting industrial pressure piping must meet applicable qualification requirements, including an ASME B31.3-compliant weld certificate, minimum ASNT Level II certification, or applicable technical degree
    • George Fischer certification on one or more applicable PVDF fusion processes, including GF Model IR 63 and/or GF Model IR 225
    • Qualified PVC/CPVC bonder in accordance with ASME B31.3, Chapter VII
    • PVC/CPVC manufacturer certification covering solvent-cemented joints, valve installation, mechanical/threaded connections, and other piping-system components

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Process Piping QA/QC professional who enjoys being in the field, solving technical problems, working directly with the trades, and helping ensure complex semiconductor piping installations are completed safely and correctly.
