We are looking for an operationally focused Project Manager to support process improvement and transformation initiatives across a global development organization. This person will work across multiple teams to evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and redesign them to be more streamlined, consistent, and scalable.
This is less about traditional clinical study project management and more about business operations, process improvement, and change management. The ideal candidate is someone who can take an existing process, understand what needs to stay in place, pull it apart, and rebuild it in a better way.
Evaluate and redesign existing organizational and operational processes across Global Development Operations.
Identify inefficiencies, manual steps, and inconsistencies and determine opportunities to streamline or automate them.
Develop standardized processes that can be implemented consistently across different teams and functions.
Support large-scale initiatives such as improving resource allocation processes and travel and expense tracking.
Partner with stakeholders across multiple teams and organizational pillars to understand requirements and determine process needs.
Develop strategies for rolling out new processes across the organization, including changes that may impact thousands of global employees.
Consider how process changes will impact other roles, teams, and existing workflows.
Support change management and change leadership planning around newly implemented processes.
Work independently to investigate problems, ask questions, develop potential solutions, and escalate when additional support is needed.
Help improve manual Excel-based processes through automation and more efficient tools where appropriate.
Manage trackers, dashboards, documentation, and other project management activities as needed.
Project management or business operations experience, with a strong focus on operational projects rather than highly technical projects.
Experience evaluating and improving existing business processes.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills — someone who can take a process apart and determine how to put it back together more effectively.
Ability to work independently, take ownership of ambiguous projects, and know when to bring in additional stakeholders or support.
Strong business acumen and the ability to work with stakeholders at different levels of an organization.
Comfortable working across a large, global organization and coordinating with teams across multiple time zones.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Change management or organizational change experience.
Experience developing rollout or adoption strategies for new processes.
Experience with Power Automate or similar workflow/process automation tools.
Smartsheet experience.
Cap City experience.
Experience improving or automating processes that were previously managed manually through Excel.
