The Process Project Engineering is responsible for the design and implementation of process control systems for John Cockerill Industries North America industrial heat-treating furnace equipment.
Specific duties include:
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study
Five (5) years of experience in a field related to the conception of industrial furnaces.
Work experience must have included:
Knowledge and technical orientation of electrical processes in the steel and/or furnace industry
Knowledge of thermal and structural parts of a furnace
Knowledge of the interaction between heat and various metals
Experience with ACAD drawings
Experienced with development and implementation of hardwired and PLC based control systems
Experienced with development of PLC applications for sequential and process control using Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and Siemens S7 PLC equipment
Experienced with pneumatic and hydraulic control design
Experience with the following safety standards: NEC and NFPA 86
Experience with the following programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, AutoCad, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 5000 and Siemens Step7.
Required to travel both in the USA and abroad for customer meetings and occasional equipment commissioning or service 25% of the time.
