Schedule: Hybrid 3-4 days a week in office

The Role: We’re looking for a Process Safety Engineer who brings hands-on experience in process safety and thrives in a collaborative, project-driven environment. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead critical safety initiatives, influence design decisions, and help drive best-in-class safety practices across a diverse project portfolio.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) efforts, including PHAs, HAZOPs, and LOPA studies
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and client-specific safety standards
  • Conduct incident investigations and lead root cause analyses to prevent recurrence
  • Develop and maintain key process safety documentation, procedures, and reports
  • Partner with multidisciplinary engineering teams to embed safety into design and execution
  • Provide input on equipment and system design from early concept through commissioning
  • Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives

 

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
  • Proven experience working within structured process safety programs and standards
  • Must have working knowledge of P&G process safety standards and must be an approved vendor to perform P&G process safety studies  (required)
  • Strong knowledge of safety methodologies such as HAZOP, FMEA, and LOPA
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional discussions

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in an EPCM or consulting engineering environment
  • Background in manufacturing, consumer products, chemical, or related industries
