Description
Delta Workforce is hiring a 3rd shift process technician for a plastic mold facility in Portage.
**3rd Shift role - Training on 1st shift for 2 weeks**
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for machine start-ups
- Work with injection molding machines and secondary equipment on tooling issues to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
- Ensure machines are running at optimum efficiency
- Troubleshoot machine, mold, and material problems
- Report to Manager any difficulties or problems requiring special attention
- Responsible for the accurate completion of Process Verification and Tool Reports as required
- Responsible for die change activities
Requirements
- Prior experience in Plastic Injection Molding, including mold changes, hydraulics, and electrical
- Education to support mold set-ups and troubleshooting
- Computer skills, including machine control
- Skills to perform process parameters of all presses operating during scheduled shift
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
