Job Summary:As a process technician, you will be working on the factory floor where you will monitor processes, test batch quality, maintain equipment logbooks, ensure the area is clean, and report any machine faults to your supervisor. Job Responsibilities:Demonstrated ability of material, mold change and processing knowledge, to include training/monitoring of lower level employeesAble to proficiently apply scientific/ decoupled molding techniques to set up and troubleshoot processesAbility to document new and/ or changing set up documentationExhibits leadership qualities within the group, giving direction to lower level employees to achieve OEE metricsRoutinely tracks Mold repair requests, filing them with the tool department to achieve preventative maintenance/ tool repair documentationAbility to perform mold/ material/ process sampling requirementsDemonstrates ability to make suggestions for mold modifications to improve processRoutinely performs continuous improvement tasks, as they relate to productivity/ down time/ scrap/ visual aidsAbility to perform cycle time improvementsWorks directly with shift manager to plan mold change/ color change eventsDaily direction of Tech Support Group to achieve acceptable OEE metricsRoutinely works on higher-level troubleshooting eventsCovers areas where mold changes are taking place to allow lower level technicians to oversee mold changes taking placeRegularly performs lower-level engineering projectsDirect participation in training & skill set evaluationsJob Qualifications:High school diploma or GED3-5 years experience as a process technicianLOTO certifiedHiLo certifiedDie setter safety knowledgeProcessor knowledgeHoist certified
