Process Technician

We take plastic planters and rethink everything about them.  We're all about making a difference; for our people, the planet and our retail partners.We are currently looking for an experienced Process Technician to join the Bloem team.  This person must have experience troubleshooting injection molding machines and completing line-side process adjustments on molds.  This person needs to be flexible and able to adjust their work schedule as business needs.  This could be day shift, night shift, and/or some weekend coverage.Your main responsibilities will include:Set up and effectively operate a variety of injection molding machines and completing line-side process adjustments.Complete assigned mold changes in a safe and timely manner.Provide technical assistance to Production, Tooling and QC departments.Change, hook up, and adjust end of arm tooling; replace suction cups, vacuum lines, broken arm segments, etc.Troubleshoot injection mold process issues and adjust as needed.Ensure cycle times and part quality goals are being met on a shift-by-shift basis.Always adhering to workplace safety protocols.Qualifications/Physical Demands:3+ years' experience troubleshooting injection molding machines.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to work in a diverse team environment.Must have attention to detail.Experience with manufacturing software (WMS).Ability to problem-solve and continuously improve quality and productivity.Ability to adjust to the changing needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ability to effectively communicate with department personnel.Ability to perform manual labor and stand for long periods of time.Must be able to work in a hot temperature environment.
