Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing within the electronics and automotive sectors, is seeking a Process Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Process Technician, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing support team, ensuring the seamless operation of mechanical and chemical processes. Location: Brookshire, TX
Pay Range: $22-$32 Hourly
What's the Job?
- Support manufacturing operations by maintaining and optimizing mechanical and chemical processes to ensure high product quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Monitor equipment, troubleshoot out-of-control processes, and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and costs.
- Assist in qualifying new equipment, managing non-conforming materials, and driving yield improvements while reducing scrap and downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve manufacturing instructions and qualification schedules.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives, manage parts and tools inventory, and perform repairs and troubleshooting with precision and safety in mind.
What's Needed?
- Hands-on experience as a technician in a manufacturing or maintenance environment, with proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and SOPs accurately, with strong record-keeping skills.
- Commitment to safety protocols, including LOTO, ESD, machine guarding, and high-voltage awareness.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and handle the physical demands of a fast-paced production floor.
- Effective communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
