Process Technician

We are currently seeking a motivated and adaptable candidate for our client in Hartville, Ohio! This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of vinyl fence, deck, and railing accessories in the US and Canada. We’re looking for someone eager to contribute to a dynamic team in a hands-on role.

In this position, you will work alongside industry professionals to support mold-related processes, ensure quality standards, and help optimize manufacturing operations. Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Pay:
$30.00/hr (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform highly diversified duties related to the establishment and maintenance of mold-related processes
  • Determine cost-effective methods regarding injection molding and related processes
  • Work with engineering on the designs of new molds
  • Perform mold trials, samplings, and pilot runs
  • Establish and document processes for new molds
  • Provide feedback to engineering on new tooling performance and conditions
  • Establish labor requirements for new molds
  • Maintain files on all scientific molding processes
  • Provide leadership and training for all molding applications

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 1+ years' experience working as a Process Technician
  • 1+ years' experience working with injection molding equipment
  • Comfortable working with calipers, micrometers, and inspection devices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
  • Must have own tools

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in mold setup and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of scientific molding procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment

  • On-site work environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
