Job Title: Process Technician
Location: Hartville, OH
Salary: $80K

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Process Technician to support manufacturing operations by setting up, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing production equipment and processes. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production, minimize downtime, maintain product quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment and production processes.
Perform equipment start-ups, changeovers, adjustments, and process troubleshooting.
Analyze process performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Monitor process parameters and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic equipment repairs.
Document process changes, production data, and maintenance activities.
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, ISO, OSHA, and company policies.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
Support new product introductions and process validation activities.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment, robotics, or automated systems is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP/MES systems).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge.
Experience with injection molding, machining, assembly, or semiconductor manufacturing (depending on industry).
Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control).
Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
Ability to analyze production data and identify process improvements.
