Work Environment: Onsite – Semiconductor Cleanroom
We are seeking Process Technicians to support semiconductor manufacturing operations in Hillsboro, OR. This role performs technical testing, operates metrology tools, and assists engineering teams with process optimization and equipment qualification.
The technician will work closely with process engineers and cross-functional teams to analyze results, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain process performance within a cleanroom environment.
Perform technical tests and experiments to support process engineering activities
Operate metrology equipment including TEM, SEM/FIB (Dual Beam), microscopes, and sputtering tools
Collect and analyze test data and prepare charts, graphs, and reports
Assist engineers in troubleshooting process and equipment issues
Adjust hardware and software parameters during experiments and testing
Perform preventative maintenance and minor troubleshooting on equipment
Support process optimization and equipment qualification efforts
Assist in documenting procedures and creating training materials
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work night shift (compressed schedule)
Stable work history
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
3–4 years of semiconductor manufacturing or processing experience
Experience with thin film deposition, etch processes, or metrology tools
Knowledge of TEM, SEM, Dual Beam (FIB), or other metrology equipment
Familiarity with EDS, EELS, PEELS, or STEM analysis
Work performed in a semiconductor cleanroom environment
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
May require standing, bending, climbing, or working in confined areas
Walking up to 10,000+ steps per shift and climbing stairs may be required
Must wear cleanroom garments and required PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes, bump cap)
Night shift position – candidates must be able to work overnight hours
Occasional travel to training facilities may be required
