Process Technician - Plastic Injection Molding

REO Plastics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for overseeing the sampling of new and existing molds, supporting process improvements, in a fast-paced injection molding environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in establishing quality control specifications for new moldsDiagnose molding and process issues and recommend corrective actionsResearch and implement new or improved processesComplete required documentation accurately and timelyMaintain cycle sheets used in productionEnsure sample tickets are completed properly and on timePerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsExtensive knowledge of plastic injection molding methods, processes, and proceduresStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writingStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksComputer literacy required; experience with production monitoring software is preferredTools & Equipment UsedLaptop computerExcel and other spreadsheet toolsPhone, email, calculator, and cameraSafety & Physical RequirementsAbility to understand and comply with all plant safety rules and regulationsSafety glasses required in all plant areas; hearing protection required where applicableSteel-toed boots recommendedAbility to work in an industrial environmentAbility to lift up to 25 lbs occasionallyMust have good vision and the ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the plant for extended periods
