Process Technician - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 35.00/hour - Concord, NH

• Our client, a plastics manufacturing company, is seeking a Process Technician to support injection molding operations at their Concord, NH facility. This onsite role is responsible for mold changeovers, machine startups, process support, and troubleshooting injection molding equipment to ensure safe and efficient production of quality plastic products.
• This is a 2nd Shift position working 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mold changes and mold setups on injection molding machines
• Insert and remove molds during production changeovers
• Connect and monitor auxiliary equipment including temperature control units, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic connections
• Perform machine startups, shutdowns, and color changes using established molding processes
• Monitor injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure proper operation and production efficiency
• Troubleshoot minor molding process, machine, mold, and equipment issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on molds and related production equipment
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to address and prevent nonconforming product
• Notify Maintenance of equipment issues requiring repair or escalation
• Maintain safe and organized production and tooling areas
• Support production goals, scrap reduction, and operational efficiency initiatives

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on injection molding experience
• Experience performing mold changes, mold setups, or machine startups in a plastics manufacturing environment
• Functional knowledge of:
  • injection molds
  • injection molding machines
  • molding processes
  • mold setup procedures
• Experience working with auxiliary equipment, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, or temperature control equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot basic molding, machine, and equipment issues
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work onsite during 2nd Shift hours (4:30 PM – 12:30 AM)

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 25.00 - 35.00/hour range
