About the Role
Shifts: 1st and 2nd Open
Picture yourself as the technical anchor for a focused production area. You arrive, review yield dashboards, walk the line, and connect with operators to understand what changed overnight. When a nonconformance pops up, you’re the first to the scene—hands on the tools, isolating variables, and driving to root cause. Your day blends quick problem-solving with longer-term improvements that lift throughput and keep processes running at target rates.
What You’ll Do
- Own process yield results for an assigned production cell, serving as the accountable technical team member.
- Champion productivity and throughput initiatives that achieve planned run-rate targets.
- Execute hands-on failure analysis to investigate and resolve process nonconformities.
- Document findings and provide clear, specific written feedback to the production line team.
- Partner with engineering resources to scope, develop, and implement process improvements.
- Design and fabricate simple tools, fixtures, and devices to support manufacturing needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal partners to advance engineering projects.
- Support change management by preparing validation documentation, updating process work instructions, conducting engineering studies, and completing related technical writing.
