Franklin, County of (NC) is looking for an individual to work in our Home Health Agency. This position involves performing a variety of medical office tasks and requires general knowledge of medical office practices and procedures. Duties include interaction with internalstaff and the public to gather, relay, and explain information needed to establish and update records and to provide documentation needed in determining eligibility for services.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and the ability to deal tactfully with the public by telephone as well as in person. This position offers a quiet office setting, a dedicated staff, and a great work-life balance with Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm work hours, an hour lunch, and the opportunity to work as part of the Franklin County Health Department team.
Education or Experience Requirement: Graduation from high school and demonstrated possession of knowledges, skills, and abilities gained through at least one year of office assistant/secretarial experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
