The POWER of a CAREER!

At Northpointe Bank, we believe your career should empower you — to grow, contribute, and find purpose. We’re hiring a Processing Manager to lead our mortgage processing team and oversee the end-to-end processing of residential mortgage loans across agency, government, and Non-Agency loan programs.

This role is ideal for an experienced mortgage professional who combines strong leadership skills with deep processing expertise. You'll lead a team of Loan Processors while maintaining your own pipeline, ensuring loans are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Loan Processors and Team Leads
  • Manage daily workflow, pipeline distribution, and resource allocation to ensure service level expectations are met
  • Maintain a personal pipeline of mortgage loans while modeling production, quality, and customer service standards
  • Monitor compliance with TRID, ECOA, HMDA, and investor requirements
  • Review income calculations, credit analysis, title documentation, and collateral documentation to support processing quality
  • Partner with Underwriting, Closing, Secondary Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure files are complete, compliant, and saleable
  • Support centralized disclosure activities, including preparation of accurate disclosures and re-disclosures
  • Review and update processing procedures, training materials, and workflow documentation
  • Collaborate with technology and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Monitor performance metrics, dashboard reporting, and pipeline health to drive operational efficiency
  • Manage vendor-related activities and partner with Accounting to resolve invoice issues
  • Provide exceptional service to borrowers, loan officers, and internal stakeholders throughout the loan lifecycle

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of mortgage processing experience
  • Strong experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-Agency loan products
  • Demonstrated knowledge of TRID, ECOA, HMDA, and mortgage compliance requirements
  • Prior experience with MSHDA, OHFA, RD, and FHLB loan programs preferred
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development experience
  • Strong ability to calculate income, assess credit risk, and analyze financial documentation
  • Experience using AUS systems such as DU, LP, and GUS
  • Proficiency with Encompass, Byte, or similar mortgage loan origination systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, compliance, and customer service standards
