Processing Operator 2nd Shift- Terra

Schedule/Hours:

Second Shift: Tuesday-Wednesday- Thursday, 5pm-5:30 am

Overview/Purpose:

Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains a variety of equipment & positions throughout the Terra Chips Processing Area. This is to aide in the final goal of making a safe, quality finished good for the end consumer.

Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety, quality, cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supplying raw vegetables to the production line
• Monitoring vegetable size profile & taking action if needed
• Monitoring slice thickness & making adjustments as needed
• Monitoring fryer settings to ensure finished product is within moisture quality specifications
• Keeping up with housekeeping throughout the entire shift to stay within quality, food safety & safety standards
• Cleaning fryers as needed to address oil quality issues
• Documenting equipment setpoints & performing quality checks
• Other duties as assigned
