(Duties and Responsibilities) Data verification: Collect and verify key documents such as pay stubs, tax returns, and credit histories. Third-party coordination: Order appraisals, title searches, and employment verifications (VOE). Liaison between parties: Act as the primary point of communication between the borrower, loan officer, and appraiser. Regulatory compliance: Ensure the loan file meets all federal and state banking regulations before submission to the underwriter. Deadline management: Monitor closing dates and ensure the interest rate lock does not expire.

 (Qualifications and Requirements) Education: A high school diploma is the minimum requirement, though many employers prefer a college degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) in finance or business administration. Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in mortgage loan processing. Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong mathematical aptitude, and proficiency in Loan Origination Software (LOS). Knowledge: Familiarity with various loan programs, such as those backed by the FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, or Freddie Mac.
