GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Worked as a Processor in a seafood production facility by cleaning, sorting, weighing, and packing seafood products. Inspected products for quality, removed defective items, prepared materials for processing, maintained a clean work area, and assisted with other production tasks while following safety procedures.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS / DUTIES:

• Can be assigned to various positions within the production department including, but not limited to, sorting, boxing, and weighing.
• Participate in plant clean-up and other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
• Clean, sort, and pack seafood.
• Open and remove raw materials and place them on belts.
• Segregate product on conveyor belt or table according to grade, color, and size, and place product in containers or on designated conveyors
• Gather, weigh and tally roe baskets.
• Visually identify defects in seafood products, discard substandard or defective items and foreign objects.

PAY: $17.75/hr. 

SCHEDULE: On call positions early morning or PM shifts available. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to work in varying production environments and temperatures
