Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a growing financial services organization seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Loan Processor to join its Lending Operations team in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in consumer lending, loan processing, mortgage operations, banking, auto lending, credit unions, or related financial services environments.

The Loan Processor will be responsible for reviewing and processing financing applications in a high-volume, technology-driven environment while delivering an exceptional customer and partner experience. Working closely with underwriting teams, customers, and third-party partners, this individual will ensure applications are accurately completed, documented, and moved efficiently through the lending process.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and confident communicating with customers and stakeholders over the phone. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to navigate objections through education and guidance, and a commitment to providing a white-glove customer experience. Candidates should be comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment handling a combination of inbound and outbound calls while managing multiple applications and priorities.

This is a full-time, fully remote position requiring schedule flexibility. Team members work 40 hours per week and may be scheduled during business operating hours that include evenings and weekends. Schedules are determined based on business needs, production demands, and team coverage requirements. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, including both verbal and written communication, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Process consumer financing applications from origination through funding in a high-volume, technology-driven environment.
  • Accurately review application information, supporting documentation, and system-generated decisions to ensure completeness and compliance.
  • Partner closely with underwriting teams to facilitate loan approvals and resolve documentation or application discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding application status, next steps, and financing requirements.
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls while delivering a professional, consultative, and service-oriented experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems while meeting established production and quality standards.
  • Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or potential issues and proactively work toward resolution.
  • Utilize available resources and internal tools to research questions and provide accurate information to customers and partners.
  • Support loan closing activities and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all company policies, lending regulations, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to speak, read, and communicate professionally in both languages.
  • 3+ years of experience in loan processing, consumer lending, mortgage processing, banking operations, auto lending, credit unions, financial services, or related environments.
  • Experience managing multiple applications, priorities, and deadlines in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accuracy throughout the process.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and navigate challenging conversations.
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment with defined productivity and service expectations.
  • Ability to confidently guide customers through financing options and address questions or concerns in a consultative manner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and lending or financial systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and accountability.
  • Familiarity with PACE financing programs is highly preferred.
