Pay: $45,000-$60,000/year, depending on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm
Duration: Temporary to Possible Hire
JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Prepare crop insurance documents, including applications, worksheets, acreage and production reports, plant inventories, and farming. *Prepare renewal paperwork each season for all expiring policies.
*Work directly with growers and attend meetings with growers as needed to assist the agents with their customer relationships.
*Provide first-line internal review of prepared documents from other processors to assist with error detection and correction.
*Take claim and loss information from growers and file claims with insurance providers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*High School Diploma/GED.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
*Valid driver’s license
*Prior exposure to agriculture or nursery growing
*Skilled in the use of spoken and written Spanish in a business environment
*Prior experience in commercial insurance, accounting, bookkeeping, or tax preparation
